LET THE FUN BEGIN!
Where it started...
We are jumping in with BOTH feet! The keys have been handed over and it is getting REAL! It may not look like much now, but believe us, this gem is going to shine up REAL nice! We are so excited to share this journey with you all. You with us?
Here is a glimpse of where the physical part started. The dreams have been in the works for years! Now that we know what we are working with, we can put some of those visions into a more realistic vision to share with all of you.
Let's start with the front. How's this for a vision? We don't know exactly what's possible yet, but we can dream right? How beautiful is this?
All the bones are there, now we get to dress it up and make her pretty and we'd love to know your thoughts! This is the look we love. Not knowing yet if we can add windows to the top, but the vision is clear!
The inside layout is going to be MUCH different too. Walls are coming down and we are opening up the space! The Parlour will be getting it's very own entrance and things are going to look a little different moving forward.
Here's the basic floor plan for now.
The front half will be the new home of Something Blue. The middle part will be The Parlour and the back part will be The Workshop!
Each of the sections will have their own entrances, but will all be connected inside. That way you can visit just the spaces you want to, but we welcome you to stay and wander!
That long green area to the right? Yeah, that's the space we have been telling you about, that's part of the new plan too. It will be happening in phases which will be revealed later. Sorry, but we have to leave SOME surprises for you!
This morning we went live and did a tour of the building and all it's glory. That way you can walk with us, soak it all in and enjoy the transformation as we go. Here it is in case you missed it. We'll leave it here so we can go back and amaze ourselves at how far we've come! ;)
